Hi Guys
Totally agree it is the applicants that are suffering in this process UKBA are good at taking the fees but then take their time giving answers. I feel for applicants that are still waiting!making immigration cuts was the worst possible thing as the government should have been well prepared for the surge in applications before immigration changes!i am sure if the waiting time in another country was as bad it would have been in the papers everyday

salaam guys. i know its proper annoying this time line

i applied at lahore on 25 april, tracking says forward to islamabad and hasnt been updated, but i called them up and they told me its under process

is there anyone else who applied in april and has had a reply or even good news ?

Today my Wife had received Ready for collection Msg at 1.00 o clock pakistan time.

Then she went to collect her passport from Gerry's Karachi...

VISA Granted-----Although UKBA taking its sweet time, however they are giving visa easily.

I pray for every body ....that they will get theres soon.Please do duas.

Ours took 71 working days.

i think that the simpler the case the less time they take to make a decision. the more checks they have to do then the longer it takes.

They are taking their time because some of them are sent to Abu Dhabi and some are sent to Islamabad.

Yes! You are right...MY application was simple straight forward...I just had put alot of effort in presentation and indexing the section.

So easy to navigate & read through.

I'd say my documentation was pretty straight forward and easy on the eye aswell in terms of presentation with dividers segregating every section of the file (indexing, appendix, etc) which I prepared myself and as an almost Qualified Accountant I doubt the embassy would have needed well over 5 months to review my wife's file as all documents were included as required..

I think its more down to the centre's themselves.. Karachi and Mirpur appear to be the best centre's for application submission's at the moment whilst Lahore and islamabad are currently in shambles!!!

Guys, they're dealing with them in batches, it happened to many of us back in April as well. We were waiting and waiting and waiting, then all of a sudden one day, at least 10 people on this site and probably many more elsewhere got their status' changed at once.

It's because they send off together in a huge chunk to maybe Abu Dhabi and it's returned as a huge chunk. Probably for security reasons, but probably moreso to save money. Don't know why, because everyone pays £800+, why are they trying to make even more by sending in batches, I don't know.

Anyways, when you get a reply, you'll all get a reply.

Spoke to the better half just now. Im feeling so bad, she was taken to hospital yesterday. With the rozas and the anxiety/stress of waiting .............things are just getting on top of her.

I only found out today and thankfully she is back home now and feeling beter. I did not envisage that this process would take so long. I got married in June 2011 and we started to get the documents together to submit her visa. Unforunately she lost her ID card and passport. I got an overseas pakistani national card but when this was given to me I noticed it had the incorrect date of birth. As with anything in Pakistan, the replacement service took a long time. Once we had the correct paperwork we then registered the nikkah nama, oranized the tb test, english test etc. And finally we submitted the paperwork on 14/05/2012.

Ive been married nearly 15 months and this is the longest hardest wait in my life.

You know brothers and sisters before marriage I had a full set of black hair. My friends say its a haircut from a 60's Bollywood film. But this stress and anxiety has led them to urn white, their cropping up everywhere.

Anyway, I now that we are all waiting eagerly a response. All we can do is make dua. Maybe this is a test, a test of our patience, and Insallah we shall be better people after this journey.

Assalaamu Alaikum. My wife was recently granted her spouse visa. She applied in Lahore on 10th April 2012 and received a text message to collect her passport on 1st August 2012. My wife arrived in the UK on Tuesday. I would just like to wish everyone who are still waiting for their visas the best of luck. Please keep faith in Allah. Insha'ALLAH all of you will hear back soon with good news.

im suffering from anxiety n stress due to this aswell. this wait is making me ill too.

hope the full batch for march applications come back

i cant believe this. i wonder when us march applicants will get our RFCs.i hope its soon.

i suppose we just have to get on with it n wait till our turn.

Walaikum asalam bro... quick question, did you get lawyers to prepare your documentation and fill in your form on your behalf or did you prepare the documentation all yourself before submission...

Your the first lahorie applicant ive come across who's spouse applied in april and has been granted their visa . Congratzzzz

Someone has been granted a visa on the 7/8/12 and they applied in Islamabad on the 12/4/2012. Thats whats on the time line.
