Yes, you will need to submit your biometrics at the time though. What it means is that BRP card that will be issued for your ILR will be valid for 10 years, after which you will need to enroll your biometrics again and get a new BRP (note this will only be required in the event you do not apply for naturalisation within that 10 year period). It's just like your driving licence which has an expiry date.
