Hi ,

I am on Tier -1 General Migrant .
I have a joint account with my brother. Will this be an issue when my spouse applies for a Dependent VISA .

Yes. I think so. As far as I know the joint account can only be with your spouse. Technically the money is exclusively not yours.

I would suggest to open a new account against your name and put money in it to avoid any complications.

which account you are going to use for showing funds maintenance,, advisable is to open a joint account in your and your wife name...
