IT Issue @ Croydon - Deferred cases on 23rd August

Post by smaha1982 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 12:08 pm

Hi,

Thanks for the forum!

I had my Tier 1 General visa extension appointment on 23rd of August a.m & case worker said everything is fine except the last check & they can't do that on the same day due to IT issue. :(

She kept all my documents & she said that they will call me once they fixed it. I'm still waiting for the update.

Unfortunately I need to go back home as soon as possible for an urgent family matter & i don't know what can I do for this as I do not have the Passport.

Has anyone experienced the same issue on 23rd August? Appreciate if you could share the progress here....

Best Regards.

Thanks asiljon for the update.. :(

How unlucky we are.. Paid more to get the visa on the same day. But now we have to suffer... Even without having the Passport..

Same with me also. Still no call.

That post you are mentioning is from May. In may HO had massive system issues and caused a huge backlog. Lets hope our processing will take less than a week .

For the money we pay we should get slippers and bathrob whole we are waiting when applying in person.

Alos to get jacuzzi and Spammy Spammer.

There is no country in the world that charges 2000 pounds for visa extension.

For similar visa in Italy for first application and any further extension you pay 12 euros (9.49 pounds).

But no ... Here you pay 2000 pounds, they dont make any decision ... you got fired as you can not attend business trips for months ...

And all this only if you are high potentian migrant ... If you are same asylum seeker you dont speak english, you have no money and you have no education you will get citizenship, social security, housing benefits ...

Just to repeat once again UK 2000 pounds, Italy 9.49 pounds ...

Yeah true... And also really frustrating as they can't give the service for that money.. :(

UK is boasting about the IT progress, but Home Office IT systems are down always... :(

errrrrr.............

Does anybody know if their systems up and running by now?
I mean if any people attended PEO Croydon on 24.08 or after and got their decisions on the same day.
