How long before can I get my application signed

Post by ftse100 » Thu Aug 30, 2012 12:27 am

Hi All,

I am regular reader of this board.

Just wanted to get some help if someone please could. I am just to apply for my naturalisation application through NCS and stuck at certain point. I have to get my application signed from two referees. My GP has agreed to sign as a professional referee. Can someone please answer:

1- How long before get I get the application signed from my referee? I mean let's say 1 month before my application submission date to the NCS will that be a problem?

2- Secondly, I have to get my photograph signed as well with that or just the application form?

3- If I can get the application form signed 1 month before then obviously I will have to complete the form and date it before presenting it to my GP to sign it. So, will that be a problem that completing the form 1 month before and submitting it 1 month older completed application form?

Your expertise would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

1. Less than 6 months.
2. Just the form. Not the photo.
3. Not an issue.
