Any help or hint would be welcome. Also, perhaps anyone could point me on which part of Immigration Rules I shall look into?

Hi

In order to get any help or hint we need to know a bit more about your visa status and your exact querry on which you wanted to get the help.

Your post looks incomplete to me.

Dear all!

I would be most obliged for an advice on the following circumstances:

* My refugee status was granted on Feb 2008 and expires Feb 2013
* My wife came to UK on student visa in Sep 2010
* We got married Dec 2010
* We applied for change of her status from Student to Dependant of Refugee (Exception was granted) in Jun 2011
* My wife received dependant visa on Sep 2011 valid until Feb 2013 (the same date on my visa)
* We expect a child to be born in Dec 2012

In January 2013 we shall apply for Settlement (Protection Route). The questions are:

* Do we need to pass Life in the UK test?
* Would my wife and child be granted ILR?

Many thanks for your help and contributions!
