Applying for Naturalisation and going selfemployed

Post by ric1982 » Fri Aug 31, 2012 10:45 am

Hi,

I am applying for naturalisation next week but also want to go self employed (contracting) a week after. I have been employed since I been in the UK (never been self employed) paid all my taxes etc. My question is regarding the AN form. I am going to say that I am currently employed (which is true at the time of the application) but once my application will be with HO I will be handing my notice in.
Do I need to inform HO that I am now unemployed (or self employed if I can find a contract quickly!) or do I dont need to tell anything ?

Please advise

No need to inform the HO about the change.
