How much time it took for your application to change status from "forwarded" to "in process" and then how many days it took to take decision?

In India it usually enters the prcoess stage within the first week often inside a couple of days.

Dear All,

My endless waiting period for settlement spouse visa is still going on .

Applied on March 28 th @ VFS Cochin
110 working day's over . Mailed them many times . Getting the same reply , they need more time to assess the documents . Really tensed and loosing the confidence .

Trust me when I say this, there are bigger fish in life to worry about that a few extra weeks apart from yoru spouse. Yes it's difficult, but be grateful you're not one of those who's had to wait 2/3 years and go through 4 layers of appeals.

Legally they are close to breaching the timeline they gave you, but you will get a response within 3 weeks. Hang in there and be patient, you will get a response, unfortunately it seems there's been a massive increase in applications all over the world.

Nothing yet, dont think we'll hear anything until december at the earliest. The review date is 3rd Jan 2013. The last 2 weeks of december are classed as bank holidays because of christmas and new year. So if they do overturn the decision then i think it will be early December. All we can do is wait now...its the waiting thats killing me.

i know the feeling just trying to fill up my days so they pass soon its hard because you are trying to be patuent and nit lose hope but the bhx have no idea what strain it has on your relationship its a shame the officers have no compassion

I have not added my spouse name
On my passport and flying next weeks. Is it okie to fly ??? Hope I won't have any problem at the Delhi airport as his name is on my visa stamp also I can carry my wedding certificate. Plz advise I'll be gr8ful to u all....

Hey, It should be fine .. since you got husbands name and make sure you have u r marriage certificate ready then it should be alright .. I don't think Delhi airport will bother about u r marriage .. mostly those details will be asked on your arival .. All the best N have a safe journey

Please find my timeline for the spouse visa from delhi

09/05/2012= Submitted application VFS delhi (Premium Launge Services)
10/05/2012= Sent to BHC
11/05/2012= Under process at BHC
18/07/2012= Visa granted.
19/07/2012= Doc collected from VFS.

Yeah i gt Notice of pending appeal..jan 14 is the date. Hope it gets cleared at This stage.i wish we dont have to wait more..keep me updated if its a positive response even i will try..takecare

no heard nothing but have emailed them just to see what sgoing on. yh the wait is a killer but have started gym!! to pass time in between kids and work. but its a worry that is thier like a mental block, well i reckon theyll do it before xmas

Dont worry.. at delhi airport, nobody gonna ask you anything about this. the immigration officer will just check your visa and put a stamp of departure.

on arrival to UK , they might ask you but very rare...
