Hi jambo, thanks for that..Jambo wrote:1. There is no different visa for BC dependant.
2. Yes, if she wish.

The BC passport/naturalisation certificate + marriage certificate would do the job.sojan wrote: Hi jambo, thanks for that..
If one applicant meets the 5 years residence requirement but the spouse doesn’t, then once the applicant is granted BC (after the citizenship ceremony), the spouse becomes a spouse of BC and can apply for naturalisation under the 3 years residence requirements.
That sentence confuses me.. So how can we prove that she is a spouse of BC resident? (if there is no Visa or documentation) . Should i add her name into the passport?
Cool. Thanks Jambo.Jambo wrote:The BC passport/naturalisation certificate + marriage certificate would do the job.sojan wrote: Hi jambo, thanks for that..

sojan wrote:Hi guys,
Just a small confusion with the documents required for spouse (single applicant) naturalisation. I'm planning to send via post & provide
1. Marriage Certificate Original
2. LIUK Original
3. Partner's Naturalisation certificate Original (british passport not present due to OCI application)
4. Indian Passport
Can't find any specific Spouse documentation. But the link say
Quote:
Evidence that you are free from immigration time restrictions
your passport showing permission to remain in the UK permanently; OR
the Home Office letter giving you permission to remain in the UK permanently.
Since it is biometric card and no passport sticker is available, Does that mean we need to provide original ILR Biometric card too?

Section 4 doesn't mention BRP but it's not relevant to you any way.sojan wrote:Hi mate, couldn't find the ILR required in the last page. (The only mention about BRP is for EEA Section 4. Or may be I'm interpreting it incorrectly?)Jambo wrote:ILR BRP is required. Check the last page of the application form for the evidence required.
If you can please clarify the section, that would be very helpful.
thanks in advance.
