UK Tier 4 Dependent

Post by juanmillan85 » Tue Sep 11, 2012 5:07 am

My wife was refused because I didn't have enough money. But they give me the visa. But I have received money from my family and now I have enough money. We are going to wait 28 days and then apply for her again as dependant. Do you think this is a good idea? Or I should try another visa?

What other type or category of visa might she be eligible for?

Tier 4 dependant is not another type of visa; that's what she previously applied. A tourist visa application to visit the UK quickly following a refusal for an application to reside in the UK is likely to fail.

I think the best course of action is to wait until the required maintenance has been held for the statutory period and make a new application.
