WANT TO SWAP PEO APPOINTMENT. ANY ONE PLEASE?

Post by nionlight » Tue Sep 11, 2012 1:09 pm

Hi friends,

I have SET(O) booked for 12th October in Liverpool which I want to swap for

25th to 28th September.

I have FLR(M) for my wife's spouse visa 19th October on croydon, I want to swap for ASAP just after my SET(O).

Please advise if any one want to swap or if there is any way to do that. I urgently need it because something came up and urgently need to go back home.

Many thanks

To be on the safe side, book your appointments for Sept (a different login details would be required). Once you are successful in booking those appointments, release the ones you don't need.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.

Thanks for advise. But I can not find any appointment for September 25 to 18 and that s why I posted this thread. Also you mentioned, to release the one I don't need. Why do I need to release? I think there is no law against holding multiple booking. Correct me if I am wrong.

There is no legal reason for releasing. But you are struggling to get an appointment and could be because people like you might have double booked. Hope now it makes sense to release the booking you do not need?
Thanks!

hi guys,
a big issue here. While trying to swap even though I choose a correct date it brought up result for 11th September and by mistake I booked that. Now there is no option to cancel since it is less than 48 hours. what can I do please? is there any issue with No SHOW?

hello nionlight,

releasing the appointment that you no longer need is the RIGHT thing to do. Just think of it, you are struggling to get an appointment for the dates you now need, similarly, there are other people that may be in a similar situation around the time for which you dont need the appointment. By cancelling it if you dont really need it or intend using it, means that someone eles will stand a chance of getting an appointment.

whats the point of holding onto an appointment if you know for certain that you will not use it? Please try not to be spiteful!

The reason people hold more than 1 appointment because of uncertainty of UKBA. For example because of IT issue ( that they regularly have) you first appointment got cancelled or they do not process of your application is invalid and they ask you to come at later date, how on earth you will get another appointment before your visa expire? Their PEO booking system is a Joke...

But I agree with you, people should definitely cancel their appointment as soon as they are successfully with their application. There are some companies that are booking all the slots and selling to others which is crap...

What if there is an IT issue on the second appointment? Do you book a third ... and a fourth appointment?

Is it possible for someone to transfer POE date to another person?

appointment swap from 26thsept to earlier

Post by ayosotinrin » Mon Sep 17, 2012 12:12 pm

Please everyone should try and book only what they need. multiple appointment is jeopardizing others chances of having any.
My Tier one General Visa expires on the 23rd Sept an I still don't have any appointment for that date, i work abroad and I can't afford posting my document.

I only could get an appointment for the 26th september after my Visa expires. can anyone help swap appointment or can anyone advise on options as I can't afford to pay solicitors who charge from about £750 to £1800 for appointment that should be free online.
