Tier 1 Extension - 12 months OR 24 months time period?

Post by Saadat_Irfan » Wed Sep 12, 2012 12:21 pm

Hi colleagues,

I am going to apply for my Tier 1 General visa extension early next year. I switched from Post study work visa back in Feb 2010 and obtained this current 2 years leave. Could I please ask someone to confirm for me if I only need to produce documents covering the last 12 months period only and not the whole 24 months leave period? I am currently self employed as well as doing a job.

The reason I ask is because I did not have enough earnings last year so wanted to check this? I do have sufficient earnings this year though.

I hope my question makes sense and you would be able to advise?

Thanks in advance!

Best

you need to score points using continous 12 months in last 15 months..UKBA is not concerned what you have earned before 15 month
