Dependent indefinite leave to remain

Post by mailtrina » Wed Sep 12, 2012 5:39 pm

Hi

I am due to apply for the indefinite leave to remain as spouse dependent in February 2013. My husband and my daughter earned British citizenship in April 2011. But after that my husband had to leave the country to take up a professional job in Malaysia - he tried for job in the UK a lot. But due to recession and job cut, he could not find any. I'm a PhD student at York University, UK. My husband took our daughter to facilitate my course, he looks after her there. Once I finish my degree, I want to set up my career in the UK so that my family can come here and we can live together.

In this situation, can you please suggest how (or what sorts of papers) might be needed to get my immigration process done?
Thank you so much in advance

What do you mean by 'spouse dependent' do you have leave as the spouse of a settled person? When was your leave issued and when did your husband leave the UK?
