Document for Financial Requirement ..Help

Post by luckylondon » Wed Sep 12, 2012 11:10 pm

My Friend is married to British Girl, as he need to apply for Dependent Visa from within uk. As per new rules the financial requirement of 18,600 pound should be meet.

But the problems comes here....My friend gets paid cash in hand(so he can only show payslip and letter from employer)

1. Is it necessary to show Bank statement ?
2. For how many months Bank statement needed ?
3. Payslips or Employer letter not enough for evidence ?

Please let me know some suggestions...

The evidence required is quite specific on this point:
(f) Monthly personal bank statements corresponding to the same period(s) as the wage slips at paragraph 2(c), showing that the salary has been paid into an account in the name of the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly.
I would suggest, though, in this case, they should submit the statements and include a covering letter from themselves indicating he's paid in cash and a letter from the employer stating the same.

He must definitely include the payslips showing the tax deducted.

If the ECO employs their brain - it should be ok.
