As agreed I am starting a thread specifically for ILR SET(O), SET (M) applicants who applied in July 2012. Please enter your details and timelines and keep posted in this thread. I would request that only applicants of July 2012 post in this thread so we can monitor the progress of July applicants. There will be separate threads for other months as well.

For General discussion or to get an update as how others are doing we can always go through the main ILR thread.

Quick Update 05/11:

Received a letter from Home office that my wife biometrics were not very clear so she had to submit it again.

At least something is happening with the case...

FINAL UPDATE:

Finally I got my approval letter of ILR on 29th Jan 2013.
It took more than 6 months but I knew it will come so I did not panic..to all out there, just keep patience and it will arrive! Best of luck..

I received our BRP cards this morning! I am thrilled though a bit angry with UKBA for taking almost 8 months to process the application. I am also surprised that we got the BRP cards even before the approval letter and our documents but I don't really care what came first! My prayer is for all of you still waiting to get some good news soonest.

The discussion posts that were made in this thread, about everyone still waiting to get their biometric invitations, are very helpful. Especially those who posted that their reference numbers aren't even registered on the system yet.

I am in the same boat and it was quite a relief to read that I'm not alone - because it signifies that nothing is wrong with my application, it's just a general July backlog at UKBA. I suspect there are others who felt the same.

And all that relevant information that you refer to can be added in the 14 "key parameters" of the timeline. There is an "edit" button given, for members to update the timeline and / or add any additional important information about their timeline that they may wish to add to their posts.

For everything else, please use these topics.

Just as you would like to communicate, there are others who would rather see "timelines" without going through 10-200 pages of "communication". For the purpose of communication and general discussion a topic already exists. If this topic is to lead to the same end, it will be closed.

In the last 10 days or so there have been at least 4 attempts to "bump" this topic to the first page ... without any "relevant" information being posted .. that I have had to remove.

I am still waiting as well ..

Anything valuable in such posts?

So, I humbly re-iterate - Please post in the topic if there is a timeline to post. For everything else, use the existing sticky topics.
