Has anyone emailed recently to find out what week's applications they're working on now? I know a couple of weeks back they were looking at the first week of April.

they dont tell you . now they have an automated email which still says that they are working on April ones.
But I think they are doing good progress by looking at the number growing everyday

Something very interesting happened yesterday. The Sponsor Register has not been updated for 20th Sep2012. unless its a holiday its rarely happened before that for a working day the register has not been updated. i really wonder what the ukba is upto...
I think they are picking up the speed I see at least 10-15 companies getting license every other day.
Has anyone used the following email service:
sponsorprogress@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
This is also explained in the following link.
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... rshelpline
I think our employer applied in mid April. I am worried they will have to re do RLMT. This is just so unfair.
You cannot make rules that you fail to execute. If UKBA fails to process an application in 6 months then they must make allowances for validity of RLMT too!
Outrageous!!!!

Whats the difference between submitted and dispatched? Based on these #'s they are getting through April applications. My company submitted my application in May so at least they don't have to go through the amount of applications as the first three months of the year.

On another note.... I've been monitoring the register of sponsors and it looks like around 15 sponsors are being added a day.

Looks like until April they were issuing less licenses than requested. With April coming down to a shocking 44. Which was probably why all this delay was. Though looks like they are catching up little by little by issuing more licenses each month than the requested number.

That's fascinating, Skylined. Can you find out for sure when you applied? I'm curious, as my company applied mid-May. Did they email you to let you know this?
Does anyone know if it's customary for the UKBA to let applicants know when they've assigned a caseworker?

JUst a question, if any body had idea on it....are the same team of caseworkers who work on licensing work on the grant of unrestricted cos as well? many on this forum including me are waiting...with msot of them 8 weeks plus...post applying...any info on this?
Also one observation i saw for the benefit of all. In the last two updates on 24th and 25th Sep that is, 15 sponsors have been added each day. so 30 in all in 2 days...

Hello everyone. Please help with advises and your opinions to my questions.
I am right now switching from Post-Study Work visa to General Tier 2 (sponsorship visa).
My organization is getting a license first time and my organization applied to it in June. I know that after getting the license then my organization has to assign the Certificate to me (online). So my question is, how long will it take to assign me a certificate? How long is it generally takes for my organization to get that certificate-number for me?
Also please tell me the procedure of asking for a "special procedure" for getting a license for the organization. Is it done via email?
Thanks!

Hi guys, I've been following your discussion for a while and decided to join now.
I would like to hear from anyone who's employer has been granted a licence and how long has the whole process take.
My employer applied for a first licence at the end of June.
So now it's been just over 3 months.
I still have about a month in spare, so that I would be alright to apply for visa, but Ive started getting nervous, when I rad it could take 6 months...
No one came to check the company, not even phoned...
PS: finders crossed for everyone who's waiting..

If you have only 4 weeks remaining in your visa expiring your employer can request case as urgent .

Well, I would guess, that if your company has been granted the licence, you guys are probably not following this link any more
)
I'll try to ask differently:
Is there anyone, whose application for a licence is being considered for longer than 3 months?
