I will be applying for tier 1 entrepreneur switching from tier 4. i have £200,000 deposited in my uk bank account.

I will also have to maintain £900 for 3 months.

Can i show my moms fixed deposit balance for three months or will it have to be in my name?

I don't think third party funding is allowed with maintenance. It will have to be in your name, I think. I'm not 100 per cent sure about this though. Please read the policy guidance.
