Dear All,
I have read some Topics on Cohabitation requirements and have some confusion. I have following documents to demonstrate me and my living together.
1. Land Registry of our house in both of our names since last 3 years.
2. Morgage statement for that land for last 3 years.
3. UK Driving license for both of us for this address. My wife has for last 6 months only but i have for 3+ years.
4. Council statement in both of our names for 1.5 years but in my years for 4 years.
5. I am trying to get letter from council to state our residence at current address.
Will above be sufficient. Some threads stated 6 type of proofs. Is that really correct??
Please advise.
Kind Regards

Can you please let us know whether the co-habitation documents is for SET(O) or SET(M)?
For SET(O), I think it is sufficient.
Regards,

Hi All,
I have one more query.
My wife and my kid are staying with me since April 2008 when i had HSMP Visa. Now that i am applying for ILR, i believe my wife and daughter can apply with me and i need to give there details only on SET (O) form. I need not fill any other form.
My case is:
EC Date: 31 Oct 2007
UK First Entry Date: 30 Dec 2007
Tier 1 Date: 2 Jul 2009
Tier 1 Expiry: 31 Oct 2012.
Please confirm if i just need to complete SET (O) form for myself and my dependants.
Kind Regards

Have you made an effort to read SET(O)?

Yes, actually i have read lot of stuff and i did concluded i just needed SET (O) as my family is staying with me for more than 2 years. However, too much reading and some where it was writtenthat dependants need to be present for 5 years, hence got confused and that is the reason for asking the question here.
Kind Regards

Hi,
Let me tell you, i just had my ILR on HSMP with Set(O). I used glasgow PEO for my app and they just took two evidences from me regaridng cohabitation docs, so you dont need to worry at all. They are not strict for Set(O) apps. As long as if you can cover the full time of your sependants stay then you will be ok.
Thanks

Dear All,
I worked from Feb 12 till Aug 2012 in a permanent employment. My payslips and bank statement show adequate amount to support my ILR application.
I have a ILR PEO appointment in Oct 12.
Before Feb 12, i was working through my limited company and i have payslip and dividend voucher to support that. Since Sep 12 this year, i have again started to work through limited company.
My query is that i have:
1. Permanent employment payslps (7) + Correspondng Bank statement
2. Employer offer letter showing annual salary and employer leaving letter
3. HMRC documents showing last 4 year income
Should i submit more than 7 month payslips. I am thinking just to carry them along if they ask. I will also carry letter from accountant. This is to avoid confusion of opening all limited company documents where my permanent employment document and HMRC letter shows sufficient income.
I believe till the time i have my payslips and bank statement + HMRC letter showing continous income above 40K, i should be fine.
Appreciate experts feedback.
Kind Regards

vivekmarwah: It is general guide line that maximum 12 months earnings out of 15 month preceding applicatin can be claimed but it not said about earnings claming less than 12 month. If less than 12 monts earnings is ok for claming required points you do not need to show 12 month ( rules is same as tier 1 extension). But remember that claming months should be consecutive months.

Thanks Arif. Yes, the claiming months are consecutive months and the money earned is sufficient to get the required points. I was confused if it is a mandatory requirement to submit 12 months payslips. As my 7 month salary from permanent employment is sufficient, i want to include payslips from self employed route because than it will open need to get all other kind of documents i.e payslips, dividend voucher, business account etc.
I am taking them anyway for that appointment incase a CW wants to get into those details.
Thanks for the affirmation.
Kind Regards

Hi All,
One clarity. Is it a requirement to present all your travel documents i.e. travel (Air/rail etc) tickets for all the exits that one has from UK.
I believe all the exit details would be available in UK Home office passport control system.
Please comment.
Kind Regards

No, if you know the dates of your absences during the qualifying 5 year period.

Thansk Sushmehra. I know all exit dates, except one where i am not clear if it was 29 or 30 Sep. Can i clarify that in the covering letter as the Visa stamp is faded and i am not exactly sure.
In whatever the case, i still have not been out for more than 70 days in total in last 5 years.
Would explaining that in covering letter suffice.
Kind Regards

Use either of the two dates. No one is going to question such minor discrepancies.
