FLR HSMP English Language letter

Hi All,
Just to clarify one much debated issue in this forum about English Language requirement letter.

I had submitted my college letter for FLR HSMP instead of the University letter. And it was accepted as a valid letter. It did mentioned the fact that the college is affilated to the University.

Other documents submitted
1) Income: salary slips for 8 months, bank statement, employers letter
2) Qualification : No documents attached as provided with initial appl
3) Passport with 2 photo
4) Marriage certificate
5) Savings a/c statements
6) Mark sheet of degree final year
