Advice needed on A1 test: Bulats for spouse visa

Hi.

Could someone please help as finding this very confusing.

got the english results today with certificate

will the following english results suffice for the spouse visa for Pakistani applicant?

RESULTS:

BULATS

Test English - Speaking
Overall Band - CEF Level : A1

Test English - Reading and Listening
Overall Band CEF Level: A1

Overall score 19
Listening Score 9
Reading and Language Score 25

The scores are given on a standard scale out of 100

Test English - Writing
Overall Band CEF LEvel : pre-A1

It seems like it will not be sufficient [http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... -tests.pdf]

The above link states the following is required:

Reading – 10
Listening – 10
Speaking – CEFR A1
Writing – CEFR A1

You missed the listening part by just 1 mark...

AND

Test English - Writing
Overall Band CEF LEvel : pre-A1

Is also not sufficient, it seems like A1 level is not acieved in the writing part as well.

Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised

Hi Harv:

Just a point of clarification. For spouse visa only the 'Speaking' and 'Listening' sections of any of the approved test are required. Writting and Reading scores
are not required.
