moving w/ citizenship, do I have to go to my home country?

moving w/ citizenship, do I have to go to my home country?

American, but I have EU citizenship by way of Finland, but have not resided there. If I want to move to an EU country (ie France) would I first need to establish residency in Finland, and then move around the EU. Or, can I immediately move to any EU country of my choice from the US?

No need for prior residence. All you need is your passport.

as eu citizen you are free to move any where in europe.

You need to have either a Passport or a national ID card from the EU member state. That is all you need for moving to a different EU member state.

Once you get there you have 90 days in which there are no requirements.

After that you need to be working or self sufficient or a student.
