Letter indicates Tier 1 extension is in ILR queue - problem?

Post by anotheraussie » Mon Oct 22, 2012 5:55 pm

Hi all,

I sent in my application to renew my tier 1 visa in June.

When I first got my letter of acknowledgement it referred to my application for leave to remain but I didn't think too much about it.

I wrote to my MP to ask her to write on my behalf about the delay in processing and their reply letter to her also refers to my application for leave to remain.

Anyone know of the impact if my application is sitting in the wrong queue? How fast are leave to remain applications being processed at the moment? Words of advice about how to get it remedied? I'm thinking I just write a letter.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Extension application is an application for (further) leave to remain in the same immigration category.
So, the application is in the appropriate queue! No remedy required.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
