Pls help : Original Home office letter of Student Permission

Pls help : Original Home office letter of Student Permission

I am from India and studied in UK form 2001 to 2003. I didnt recive such letter after getting the EC in India or extensions in UK, pLEASE Let me know if any one recieved such letter.

I mailed the hsmp.workpemit but I didnt get any response from them,

Now I reason i mentioned in the application form is

" I DIDNT RECEIVE SUCH LETTER AFTER GETTING THE EC Visa in India and for extensions in UK"

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS REASON WAS OK NOT.
