Payslip stamping and signing

Post by first2last4 » Wed Jan 24, 2007 1:05 pm

As per previus post I see that if the payslip is no original i.e. if it is a printout on A4 paper, then we need to get the stamp and sign. I understand the stamp bit but what does sign exactly mean?

My payslip only has the following information.

Produced by payroll dept
<Person Name>
<Dept Name>
<contact details>

There is no actual signature of anyone. Should I treat this as signed or get the payroll dept actually sign it.
