questions regarding filling up the SET[O] application form

Post by priya26 » Mon Oct 29, 2012 2:41 pm

I am filling up the ILR form for my husband and have a few questions..
I am hoping you can help me with that.

1. Page 7: 1.4- Full name as on the passport
1.5- Surname.
So what is it that I have to enter here?

2. Page 11: 5.3 - Pay each month after income tax and deductions.
(my husband's payslip shows different pays every month..so which pay to enter? )

3. Page 19: Earnings in pound sterling.
Do they want your gross earnings or net earnings?

Many thanks,
Priya

Hi,

I am answering to your question to the best of my knowledge and what I am practising in filling my application.

1. Page 7:
1.4: Open the Passport cpver page with name on it..fill exactly how it is mentioned on the passport. Ex: RAJ Rao
1.5: Surname as mentione din the passport again Ex: Nandamuri

2. 5.3: Mention the average income from past three months mentioned on the payslips. Ex (1850+1750+1800/3=1800).

3. Its alwasy Gross Income which is counted for Points category as done for Tier 1 General and eXtension.

Hope that helps, how ever seniors can help in detail if I am not correct.

All the best.

Regards
VJ

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I have opened the passport and I am going through it

Surname: Rao

Given name: Raj

1.4 asks for Full name : So should I mention Raj Rao here or only Raj ?

1.5 asks for surname: So I will obviously mention the surname here.

Hi,

Mention as it is in Passport,

As you said, mention the first name as : RAJ
Surname as : RAO

We know that Raj Rao is the name as per Indian origin but for application only passport speaks.

So just mention what is mentioned in Passport.

Hope that answers.

I have one last question

Page 50:

Do we have to tick the part which says:

Documents to support your Tier 1 points assessment ?

If yes, what do we need to submit?

We have over 30 pages of bank statements and they have asked how many, so what do we need to write in that column?

Your help will be appreciated.

Many thanks,
Priya
