EEA4-PR under ROR and BC

Post by masum » Wed Oct 31, 2012 10:37 pm

Hi there,
I obtained EEA4-PR under ROR, and wish to apply for BC after 1 year of PR.
Just 2 questions, if any one can help me..

1. Do I need to provide EEA national's ID again with BC application? ( I got all the documents from the EEA4 application but not the EEA-ID)

2. The profession ref, can it be a team leader from private retailer? ( I don't know any doctor, or public officer or such)

Will appreciate if anyone reply
Thanks

For 1, it depends upon whether you are applying 1 year after actually acquiring PR (i.e. 5 years of treaty rights) or 1 year after obtaining your sticker confirming that. If the former, then you need to provide all of the same data as for EEA4, including the EEA-ID. If the latter, then you need to provide neither treaty rights docs nor the EEA ID, the PR vignette will suffice. You also don't need to fill out the EEA section of the AN, as that's only for people applying without having had their sticker for a year. So, since you are missing the EEA ID, you just need to make sure you've waited long enough for the latter situation.

Can someone else help with 2?

there is no need to include your ex ID just send the same file you sent for EEA4 about what concern her.

Thanks for reply. Yes I already got PR sticker in my passport last may after retaining the right of residence. So if i apply next year may-end, I guess I don't need eea- ID nor to fill eea section on AN form. Thanks.
But one thingh in my mind that can HO question anything as I was a family member of eea national and ask for more evidence of eea national?
Thanks again to reda and jotter.

When applying for naturalisation, the HO will check that you meet the requirements for naturalisation. As you have a PR Confirmation for more than 1 year, they will not be interested in evidence related to the PR application (or the EEA national). With PR, you are independent from the EEA national.
