After a long wait of 16 weeks and 2 days, today my company received COS. it was applied on June 20 and received today around 11 am. My employer will assign it tomorrow. Hope everything will go well. Best of luck for you guys, who are still waiting for it.
Thanks.
Congratulations! Did your company apply just for the CoS and not a sponsor licence?ska.omer wrote:Hi Everyone,

No, Aug and still waiting.. Although, my visa is due to expire soon ( in 4 weeks), UKBA advised that if it's under 2 weeks they would prioritise it and I am hoping they stick to that.sha23 wrote:[\\

I am waiting for the allocation as well and my visa expire in less than 2 months, so probably need the urgent treatment as well.logix88 wrote:No, Aug and still waiting.. Judging from some previous posts, people were given CoS allocation when expiry date is near by...

13 weeks is too long! When will your current visa expire? Maybe you have to wait until 2 weeks before its expire for an urgent treatment. I feel very nervous as well since my visa expire in mid december.sha23 wrote:Hi All,
Its week13 for me post applying for additonal allocation(unrestricted cos) by my emplyer. Still no news!!...Did any of you applied in July have got allocation? of late/recently without urgent treatment?
do please let me know....
Its really very painful...wait...
new applicant from outside the country. Fall under Tier-2 ICT. So this condition wont apply to me....blobfish wrote:13 weeks is too long! When will your current visa expire? One doubt, in the SMS system did the status change while your unrestricted cos was about to come. What was the status just before it was assigned or allotment being done. Once requested status is shown as "requested" post which what re the different statuses?
Its been 14 weeks now for my employers request through the Sponsor Management System. We are still waiting.ska.omer wrote:Hi Sha23,sha23 wrote:Hi ska.omer,ska.omer wrote:Hi Everyone,

I am not sure about the status changes as I did not have access to sms system. The day my company recieved the COS, I was in a meeting and in the middle of that HR confirmed me about it. He had said, He just received an email from UKBA and the company had been allocated two unrestricted COS.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I was fallowing this post, just updating u for my Cos.
Increase of allocation request :30/10/2012
Sent Email around 1 pm same day
Called to them around 4:15pm same day
Asked to call back next day after 10am.
Call transfered to Caseworker, he said if u have received the confirmation response to ur email then we wil deffinately check it and proceed accordingly in 2 days.
Around 2 pm same day allocation granted.
My HR assignd it to me on 31st Oct and gave me certificate number. I have made online application on 2/11/2012 for tier2 inside country. Thanx God applied on time.
Note: my current visa expiry is 4/11/2012. That is the reason of getting urgent treatment.
All correspondnce done by my Director(A-rated licensed) and Hr.
Best wishes to all of us.
That should hopefully be useful for someone. We just received CoS allocation and assigned new certificate.
congrats logix88,logix88 wrote:That should hopefully be useful for someone. We just received CoS allocation and assigned new certificate.
As I suspected - they only deal with cases that are 2 weeks (10 working days) to visa expiry.
As soon as you are within this period, HR should send an e-mail with visa attached asking urgent treatment - very next day, it should be allocated.
So, if this is all you are waiting for - don't worry, you will get it eventually as there seems to be a pattern here.
Thnx. Just out of interest, what's with ICT visa? It should have an expiry?sha23 wrote:congrats logix88,logix88 wrote:That should hopefully be useful for someone. We just received CoS allocation and assigned new certificate.

Sadly mine is a tier 2 ict case, so dont have issue of visa expiry hence my wait seems endless. applied on 27th july....
good luck with further process, which now is quite straightforward in ur case.
i am a fresh applicant outside UK. I shall apply for tier-2 ict once i get cos only...logix88 wrote:Thnx. Just out of interest, what's with ICT visa?
