hmmm doubt it, they will want to see it on real letterhead or with real signature - so it looks original

how long ago did u apply ? can you get another letter quickly and use some sort of Express post ?
i.e. i got some of my documents sent from Australia->UK in 4 days, and that was immediately before xmas too.

This is what I got from Homeoffice regarding a letter from College.

Subject: RE: College has provided the letter that degree was taught in English

Dear Irfan,

> Thank you for your enquiry.
>
We cannot pre-assess any evidence that you send in because we cannot
see it. However, the letter should be on the colleges letterhead and
include the following details:

- Your name
- The course you studied
- The dates you attended
- Whether the degree was taught in english
- Why the course was taught by a college if the degree is awarded by a
university. Show the link between college and university.

My letter is not saying anything why the course was studied in the college and the degree was given from the university. The link between my degree and letter is my reg no and the letter mention university name. But the degree is from university and does not mention my college name as it is the code in my reg no.

To show the link will be messy. Please advice :(

almost the same situation.

i plan to send my application before my birthday to be assessed under the <30 age band, and send in my IELTS test form a couple days later, since I can get this form just a few days before my birthday.

i think i should immediately fax the form and then send it in with reference number.

any ideas, guys?

pravtech, have you already faxed it ?

tell me if it makes sense, pls

the point of faxing is to let them know YOU DO HAVE THIS ENGLISH LANGUAGE EVIDENCE, so that they do not reject your application based on that, and we need to mention in fax that th eoriginal is sent by post, so that they do not refuse before it reaches the Home Office.

does it make any sense?
