eu1.certificate of application query

Hi, all.
I am very new on this forum,but i been reading a lot.Its really gud.
My question is,i have applied for residence card in ireland using form EU1, 2 weeks ago.i havnt recieve any acknowldment from them yet,as i came in ireland with my wife a month ago and they put a stamp on me that i am not allow to work.
i want to know from your experience that how long it takes to get temporary stamp 4 .

For my girlfriend it took a bit over 3 weeks to receive the acknowledgment letter for her EUTR application. Once you have that letter you can go to the immigration office with it, and they will issue the temporary stamp 4 on the spot.

Thanks a lot,for your kind reply.So i have to wait atleast 1 more week.temporary stamp 4 is a card or a sticker on passport??

It is an actual card (a GNIB card which says "Stamp 4" and expires 6 month after the date when they recieved you application).

It looks like the picture below except it won't have "EUFam" on the temporary one (and if your application is approved, they will issue you a new one which does have EUFam and is valid for 5 years).

I would have to double-check, but I think they also stampped something on her passport saying they issued her with the card.

Yes I think to set your expectation right you should expect it within one month after sending your application.

Are you working or studing in ireland ? if yes did you sent tax cert , payslip. etc ?
