Hi,

A question about the HSMP income qualifications - I'm currently in the UK on a working holiday visa, and my entitlement to work runs out in June.

I have enough points for HSMP except under the income category. I need 15 points to make 75, so I need to have earned £20,000 for the past year. By June I will only have made about £19,000.

My question is, if I get a second job from now until June to get my earnings over the £20,000 mark, is this something the Home Office will accept?

Technically I thought £20,000 is £20,000, and I haven't found any information that says your income can't consist of two jobs in the same period. But I'm not sure - does anyone know for sure whether I would be able to do this?

Thanks very much.
