Hi ,
Please could you please help in clarifying the below for me.
I am a non EEA spouse of an EEA national. I do have a valid residence card.
I want to travel to France to visit a friend, my husband wont be travelling with me so i want to apply for a schengen french visa.
one of the required document for the application is
•If the marriage was celebrated in the UK by a religious authority, the marriage certificate must be paired with an official registration at the General Register Office.
i don't understand this . we married in the church and do not have an official registration at the General Register Office.
I had a valid work permit when we got married.
Please advise on what this means, can i obtain it now.
If i apply with just our marriage certificate, will my visa app be refused?
I appreciate every advice
Many thanks in advance
