Past earnings - 2 employments

Post by deepa_269 » Sun Aug 01, 2004 8:16 pm

Hello everyone,

i would really appreciate help on this one.

In the past 12 months, for 3 months i was employed by a Turkish company & earning 12000 USD per month - have wage slips & employer letter to prove it - paid tax.

For 4 months 7 days - worked as independent consultant for a UK company in ERITREA (Africa), earned 8500 USD per month - have my invoices & bank statements to prove it.

For remaining 4 months 3 weeks - lived in India & did not work. Also, have a letter from accountant saying my income not taxable in India.

Which band and country should i put myself in?

Tried asking this to HSMP customer relations but no answer.

Please advice

Thanks

Deepa

oh Deepa, Are you teaching in maths? Such a diff. Q that no one is answering. :D

As far as I think, You can use the second slot which was of 4 months n 7 days. You need to calculate your salary on pro-rata basis and also you need to show the Tax returns and hence you fall into the income category for Africa.

Hope this help. I also recommend to write HSMP Customer Relationship team via email as well.
Regards,
Afzal

I read your earlier post, but your case is realy complicated, never heard any such case 3 countries involved in it.... no idea what is applicable in your case. You should have consulted a UK lawyer / the host for a better answer.
They do not acknowledge the receipt, if your courrier service provides you with a tracking system, then you can track your application. Or else wait for 10 days and e-mail them that you had sent your application on x date , your name is xxx and date of birth is xx. Ask for the reference number. You should receive a reply in a day or two.

hope that helps.

Thank you for the response, roams. I have written to them asking for case reference number. Will update you when I get it.
