Tier 1 extension with different qualification

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 ( General) visa granted in 10 Feb, 2010. My extension is due soon. I have question about qualification. When I have apply initially I have claim points for my M.Sc. and now I have PhD degree. I would like to know whether I can claim points for my new qualification.

Yes as long as Phd degree appear in the pbs calculator.

I myself applied initially with bachelor degree and done my extension using my master's.

Yes.

He asked "which degree do you want to use for points" and i showed her the degree(master's ).
