HSMP Extension

Hey Guys important question.
I have applied for HSMP visa. Once I get the clearance is this where 2 years intiial period starts or once you enter the UK?

EC date (HSMP visa on your passport) is the date they go by for HSMP extensions.

For ILR however, they go by the date you first entered the country on HSMP visa.

For this reason, many people attempt to enter the country the same date as EC.
