The guidance isn't very clear about sponsors or representatives... I filled in both sections as I am the sponsor and I will be representing my wife...

Well... I'm assuming you have already sent the email to the casework team advising them of the error they've made... The ECM will respond to you within 20 working days... based on that response, you can decide whether or not to submit a fresh application...

Hi Sujan,

I sent an e-mail straight away but they replied

"I am writing this e-mail on behalf of the ECM. The onus is on the applicant to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the relevant rules. In this case you failed to do so. You have the right of appeal against this decision. If you wish to submit your appeal to the First-tier tribunal, you can do so online and pay your fee online at www.justice.gov.uk"

I got this reply today. What do you think?

This mail suggests that my appeal will fail at ECM review!! Let me know what you think about it!

Hi kumar,

Good luck with the application mate! My wife will apply for spouse visa in December and we have contacted a solicitor last months and for my surprise he advised us to fill the SU07 form. Looks like he has some experience in dealing with the Chennai Office case workers ;)
