Tier 1 Extension - earnings for Ltd Company contractors

For Ltd Company contractors in the 12 mth period if there is contracting gap for > 1mth then:

- will UKBA consider the dividend & salary for the gap period* for Tier 1 extension (as there will not be any end client invoice raised)?

*(Eg: Ltd. Company contractors withdraw reduced dividends & salary from the profits of the ltd. company during employment gap until new contract job is secured)

- In this scenario will the CW consider the earnings as relevant for claiming points though there is no end client invoice raised?

i had similar case as yours and got an extension successfully. i had a contract for period of apr 11 to sep 11. when i applied for extension i used earnings period of apr 11 to mar 12. so the last invoice that i had issued was in oct 11 for sep 11. although there were no invoices in last 6 months but i was paying myself monthly salary and periodic dividend as per my accountants instructions. also for my extension i used this as my only source of earning.

1. Did the CW check your end client invoice?
(as there are two sets of invoices to be submitted
i. end client invoice
ii.salary (paid to self) invoice from accountant )

i am not sure of that as i had made postal application. but i had submitted photocopy of the invoices and original salary slip (generated by accountant)
