Licence granted, but no COS allocations

Post by Ann22 » Fri Nov 23, 2012 12:44 pm

Hi guys,
Sorry if this question have been here already, i honestly tried to find it on forum, but couldn't.
We've been granted a licence today (after 5 months of waiting) however, they say that it was not clear from our application if we needed restricted or unrestricted COS, therefore we got 0 of them?
We tried looking through SMS system, guidance....but still have no idea whet to do now?
Any ideas?
Thank you a million

When you put an online Sponsor application you have to tell them how many COS you'd need

BTW : When did your company for license ?

Its not a problem dude. Just get your HR to apply for a COS through on-line management system. Shouldn't take more then 24 hrs to get one.
Hope that helps.

Wow. You applied on June 26th 2012. Did you put any urgent treatment ?

Its not a problem .Request for COS (If your visa is expiring in next month) then ask for ugent treatment and you will get it sorted.

They are just making extra money.

Oh alright..thank you guys, we were just confused, that on that SMS it states that you have 0 more coas you can allocate.
No. no urgent treatmen and no one ever called or came to check anything.

Do you maybe know: there is a stage when you are applying, where they ask for a country of residence: do i out UK if I'm in UK now? or my home country?
And...salary...if i have basic and commission? do I out in comission as bonus?

THANK YOU!!

Country of Resident : UK (if Apply from UK which you should)

Salary (Employer will select SOC Code ) it should be

:~NQF Level 6
:¬ You are earning that money as defined in SOC Codes.

Do you guys also maybe know?
When you fill in the application for COS and you need to provide the start date.
Do you put in the future date or do we out in the actual date I started working in the company?
I worked here on a student visa part-time and intending to switch to full-time?

Just go to the one that resembles your job the closest. I think they even say it somewhere in the guidance.

thank you for your comment
i am not really sure and planning to talk to lawyers actually, but if my job title is quite similar to their jobs that are NQL level 4, however with some additions in job description, that actually make it requiring higher qualification
if that makes sence..
