I am thinking of applying for the HSMP programme and have a query regarding the previous earnings section of the application.
I am Chilean and have been working in Spain on a work permit. I have the payslips for the past 12 months and want to know if I can include allowance given to me that wasn't taxed that was for the payment of my accomodation. It says in the guidance for applicants notes that:
"We will not be able to consider any allowances paid to you that are not declared on your payslips". It is on my pay slips, but tax hasn't been paid on this. This would greatly increase my income band and I wouldn't need to provide so much evidence in other areas - qualifications, age etc. etc.
Also on the subject of payslips, do they need to be translated as they are in Spanish? Any if so do I need to get every single payslip submitted translated or will just one that contains a translation for everything that is on the rest of them.
The last point is regarding the tax return evidence. Since I have the one up to the end of the last financial year do I need a letter from my company stating what I have been paid over the remainder of the year that goes in evidence with the tax return? Could I submit bank account statements to show this instead? What evidence is deemed acceptable.
If anyone has any answers to these questions please let me know as some of the evidence and what is and what isn't allowed is a little vague in the least.
