10 years ILR Eligibility - Visit Visa

Post by bmgg » Tue Nov 27, 2012 6:56 pm

Hi could some one please help me with this query , i have asked many people about this but didn't get a satisfactory answer.

" Does visit visa counts towards 10 years ILR" I dont think I qualify for 10 years ILR but anyway here is the situation:

1-First Visit visa obtain - 23/9/2002----23/03/03

Entry is uk 15/10/2002-----19/03/2003

2- Second Visit Visa obtain -- 09/07/2003----09/01/2004

Entry in Uk 18/07/2003 ---26/09/2003

3- Student Visa Obtained 24/02/2004- 31/10/2005

Entry in uk 7/03/2004

I did my post graduation and my MBA from a reputable university , during this period i extended the student visa couple of times.
After that got IGS on 18/03/2009 and then HSMP on 10/02/2011
Now my extension is due in feb 2013, but its been 10 years in uk as well,( if i include the visit visa) but again question is do i qualify for that.

Also i haven't been out of the UK for a single period that exceeds six months and also haven't lived outside the UK for more than 18 months in total.

Any information and advice on this would be appropriated. Many thanks
