i applied for uk spouse visa 25 june under old rule.my husband is british national and he is self employed a sole trader. we submited as financial proof his 3 months buisness bank statment.his accountant letter confirm that he is self employed and his 1 year account (2010-2011) from his accountant.i want to know that these documents are fine or my case is weak becoz we are not able to send them this year account 2011-2012?

I am also company director and when I applied for my Wife's VISA I supplied the following:

- Letter from Accountant confirming I am Director of the company. The letter also outlined the monthly amount (for past 6 months) I was taking from the company as my monthly income in the form of Salary + Dividends.
- Latest accounts which were not yet submitted to HMRC as my company was just near the end of year but had not completed it.
- The accounts were showing profit was available for dividend to be drawn.
- Personal Bank statements

I did not provide any business bank statements with the application.

You submitted your application over 5 months ago, it is a long time.

I would suggest you start contacting the UKBA/ECO about your application. I would also suggest that your partner in the UK contact his local MP to fast track the application.

Since you have already submitted the application there is no point in worrying about the outcome. Just wait and see what the ECO does with your application, stop stressing.
