Could some let me know how long does it take to get the login details (username/password) for the sponsor management system once your employer licence is successful?

Kate, i wouldn't worry too much about finding out which dates they are currently processing. As this is a bit irrelevant at the moment, because the UKBA do consider urgent treatments. My company made an application last month, and last week we got our license and COS after we pushed for an urgent treatment. I guess you need to convince your HR to be a bit more persistant on this. Hope this helps.
The issue is that I am changing jobs and had to give notice at my last job in April, and have not been able to work since the end of August. My previous Tier 2 has not been curtailed, however. I would be in a better position if it were!!! We don't seem to satisfy the criteria for urgent consideration because my old tier 2 expires in 2014, even though my new employer are desperate for a Physics teacher and have re-advertised TWICE. Shortage occupation, what???
Kate
if you do have a RMLT that expires as well this should count. Either way, if your employer can write to them via email (to the urgent treatment address) with a hard case they will respond.

Shortage Occupations do not have RMLTs.... I cannot believe I would be in a better position if my already precarious visa status were more precarious. This makes no sense. Shortage occupations are those which there are not enough in the EU to do. According to everything I have seen on these boards, we don't have a hard case. I think I will be filing a lawsuit against UKBA for loss of earnings at the end of all of this!
It should be easy to employ people in shortage occupations - taking 6 months when the education of my pupils is suffering because there is no one else to teach them is unacceptable UKBA!!!

Hi Guys,
I have been reading this forum on a regular basis for last couple of months. it has been very helpful, so i thought i would give a update for everyone.
My company applied for its licence for the first time back in end of august. I checked the list of sponsors today, and company name is on it.
Hope this information would be helpful for others.

Hi All,
My question to all of you applying for Tier 2 extension is do you have to show that you are being paid over 20,000/annum. i.e., 20,000/12= £1666 / month approx on your wage slips??? what if you get around 1200 -1300 / month after taxes, does it indicate a problem?
Regards
Tier 2

Hi there, the salary is before tax. and also you don't need to send your payslips. I guess. At least, I don't do it when I applied for my current tier 2. I just have a salary amount as offered by my employer.
