Maintenance money as part of fees?

Hi all .. I know this isnt wise, but can I get away with using part of my maintenance money to pay the application fees?

Has anyone here done this before?

You can, but if anything had to happen and you have to withdraw and reapply for whatever reason, or your bank statements are wrong and they ask you to provide new ones, you can't.
