Yes. We had my wife's name changed after we got married. So she had two different names on her marriage certificate and passport. So we had to submit Government gazette original with name change to UKBA.

UKBA have asked for another letter from my employer asking "why i was out for 90+ days in india for business & impect on business" which i have submitted last week.

so does any one know how long it will take them to process after receiving the letter.

Hi guys....I have just joined in but regular reader of this forum.i must say that it has been very helpful. I wanted to share good news with u all. I applied for ILR based on tier 1 in PEO cardiff on 27. 11.12 my case was self employed combined with employment. They didn't make the decision on that day and said it will take 2 weeks to get a reply. I am lucky that it actually took less than 2 weeks and I have just received the approval.

Just an update that I am still waiting after applied under premium service on 14th March I did had 123 days out in first year which are now covered anyways with all this added wait. I am hoping to get decision soon...

Hi All,

i will really appreciate if someone can give me some advise on my case. here's the details:

Date of application: 16/01/2013
Type: ILR from Tier 1 General
Service Type: Next day appointment

further details:
Director of Limited Company
Salaried employment + dividend vouchers shown (plus accountants letter and company accounts)

ON the day of the appointment we were asked to submit all documents and to collect them next day with a decision. The next day, I was told that further documents may be required as the income did not match what was going in the bank account.

basically, the income showing in my bank account was a sum of my dividend per month and monthly salary.

I was told that a letter will be sent by post and further documents might be requested.

Questions:
1. any idea what documents could be requested in my case?
2. how long will the process take?
3. is there any contact numbers/ email addresses to ask them about the progress as i have not received any letters and its been a week already?

I would like to apply for SET (O) for me, my UK born baby and my wife.

My wife will be completing 2 years only on march 27th. but we only got appointment on7th march 2013 and our visa runs out on 30th (29 & 30 home office holiday)

we will applyall together on 7th march 2013 using SET (O) Via PEO appointment.

I donot know how HO case worker will deal with SET(O) application incase they want to reject my wife application?

Is there a chance to approve my and my son visa on SET(O) and reject my wife visa? Is that possible or they will reject all 3 of us?

I would be grateful if you could answer the above question based on your experience.

i applied for ILR in croydon PEO on 5th November but i was given further inquiries letter, and affter 3 months of long wait i received a call on Thursday 7th Feb 10am that my ILR has been granted and they will post my documents at my home address and my biometrics card to my solicitor, can you please share your experience that how many days it can take for documents and biometrics to be delivered???? i was hoping that documents will be delivered by today but i havent received anything as yet.... any help will be appreciated.. thank you

Hello all

I have finally received my BRP. Timeline:

Applied using the same day service on 10th April 2012 (5y WP), couldn't process due to IT issues so they kept everything, and 4 days later I got the further enquiries letter.

Nov 2nd I received a refusal, with right to appeal. Grounds for refusal - they said my salary package was less than SOC guidelines (miscalculation on their part).
Appeal hearing on 21st Jan, lasted for less than 5 minutes as the judge thought it was quite obvious what my salary was and that it was correct.

Appeal Decision received in my favour 4 days later, and the Tribunal had also instructed UKBA to refund my appeal fee as all the evidence submitted at the time of application was sufficient to prove that I fulfilled all the requirements.

About 3.5 weeks later I received my BRP and passport, after a needless 10 month wait and solicitor fees, just because somebody couldn't be bothered to do their job properly! Anyhow, I have it now.

On a separate note, my passport has no stamp or reference to the BRP no. Is that how it's supposed to be? (I'm sure people have asked this before, so sorry to be a broken record!)

Finished all the formal checking and biometrics enrollment by 12. Case worker called me at around 12.30pm. After her lunch she started my case around 2.00pm. Finally she called me at 4pm and said that my application is fine but her senior caseworker need to do further enquiries. My paperwork as follows.

Bank Statement + Payslips (with Employer letter)
And all required documents.
Actually I thought that my case will be straight forward because I am employed(salaried). But to my surprise my case is going for further enquiries. Later in the evening I called my colleague and came to know that our Operations Manager(One who gave reference letter) left office at 2.00pm today.

Can someone please reply for the following queries?

1. how many days normally it will t take to get the result?
2. Is there is anything to worry on this?

Just wanted to update you...

My friend applied for his wife ILR in Liverpool PEO on 18th Feb 2013. They asked additional docs for cohabitation proof. He sent in on 19th Feb 13. After that no updates responses or any other communication.

He received her ILR approval letter today.

It seems when you are asked for additional doc from PEO counter. Your cases will be approved and cleared in 5-7 weeks time. Not like postal applicatiosn of 6 months time.

How long will it take get an reply?

I heard that if asked for additional documentation, then the application is treated as normal post. is it true? In such a case it is no longer a premium service, can we have a refund then ?

@kdrshravya, you have not mentioned what additional documents where requested from you. What is your visa category? On what basis did you apply? Employed or Self employed?
If you don't provide these info, you may not be able to get the right advice.

Addl. docs sent on March 4th ( within 14 day time)

Still waiting for the decision....
