Hi
I have been working in 3 diferent countries in past 15 monhs.
UK - 1 month (0 months working) - 0 pounds.
India 9 Months (7 months working starting feb) - 4529 Pounds
Australia 5 months ( 4.5 months working) - 10000 pound
How will they calculate my points for past earnings. In HSMP Guidence it is specified as
"If you have lived and worked in more than one country during the past 15 months we will normally assess your income over a 12-month period against the country where you have spent the longest period, on a pro-rata basis. For example we consider a period of up to 12 months in the last 15, so that if you have spent 8 of the months in the United Kingdom and 4 in Nigeria, we will take your earned income in the United Kingdom, divide it by eight and multiply it by 12 to give an annual income figure. You will then be allocated points appropriate to that figure. You need to submit the appropriate forms of evidence for consideration (see below)."
According to this, My salary in India will be considered. Will that be considere as follows ?
4529 / 7 *12 = 7764 - 45 Points
I have also worked in UK for almost an year, In that case, can I claim my points for UK work experience?
Finally, I had a huge notice period deduction from my company in india during final settlement. Will the notice period deduction wil be considered as a part of gross salary? like the way they consider income tax?
Looking forward to your reply.
