Class 2 NI for Limited company

Post by brajen » Tue Jan 01, 2013 9:34 am

Guys. Wish u happy new year to all in this forum. I'm running my business through a Limited company structure and going to apply for the extension with my employment income as well.

I've already seen in this forum that Many case workers are asking for prove of Class 2 NI for Limited company structure!!!.

As per HMRC rule, If you're Self employed only (ie Sole trader), You need to register for Self employment and subsequently HMRC will send you the Class 2 NI bill.

In our cases (ie Limited company), There is no need for this self employment registration and Class 2 NI Payment.

Any expert, could you please give us the better solution for this issue???

Thank you in advance.

I guess your accountant would be the best person to answer this. In my view if in your case a Class 2 NI is not a requirement from HMRC then UKBA will not ask you for it.
