PEO APPOINTMENT

Post by xrootx » Fri Jan 04, 2013 10:33 am

Hi,
I am trying to book an appointment for last few days. My Tier 1 is expiring on 14th of Feb. I have seen few post on this forum about people saying that they can get appointment with some charges. Any body tried any of these services?
Help please.
Thanks

I'd be very wary for these people. The UKBA is pretty clear on the fact that you are not allowed to sell appointments and as an individual you are not allowed to book more than one appointment or book speculative appointments.

Now, at the moment, nothing is being done about this, however, given the fact that more and more people are complaining about the difficulty to get appointments, I would not be surprised if the UKBA starts clamping down on this.

The rules around booking appointments are pretty clear, the fact that the rules aren't necessarily enforced at the moment, doesn't make it right, because the UKBA reserves the right to start enforcing these rules at any point in time.

ok this is what you need to do, Install safari browser then be ready to appointment at midnight just 1 minute before the midnight login to your account and then select the PEO you want DO NOT CLICK NEXT wait until it is 5 seconds past midnight click next and then if you can get a connection to site keep clicking next DO NOT REFERSH or GO BACK keep doing next until to reach next screen.

KEY FACTOR is SAFARI browser.

if you still don't get it pm me I will help you get it.
Please do not pay for appointment . I was myself desperate to but at some point of time to buy the appointment but with helps from good I did got it.

I booked my appointment in Chrome and others have suggested Firefox. It's not the browser that's the problem, it's making sure that the UKBA site is up before submitting any forms.

Keep a few forms pre-filled in in a few different tabs (15 should do you well!) (e.g. to the point where you have selected dates and a PEO office). Make sure that you refresh every now and again before midnight as the site times you out after 20 minutes.

Now keep another tab open just to keep loading the home page (https://apply.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/se ... ed/account) - starting from midnight at any point, before submitting ANY form (e.g. clicking continue), refresh the home page tab and make sure that you are getting a response back from the server. If you get a response back, GO GO GO. Then once you get an appointment, make sure the connection is still up again before submitting by refreshing the home page.

It takes a few tries, but you'll get the hang of it. It's not a browser issue, it's simply an issue of timing it correctly when the server is up and accepting requests.

Safari is not the key factor at all. I have managed to book my appointment using Firefox.

I had two windows open and on both of them i was waiting for the few seconds past midnight and pressed Next on one of the appointment pages and that page didnt go through as the UKBA website was down . I kept on pressing reload and the moment the UKBA website went up i pressed next on my other page and it showed me appointments for the PEO's where i wanted my appointment. As i said i was using Firefox so definatly Safari is not the key factor at all.

The key certainly doesn't appear to be the browser, as I booked mine using IE.

The key is timing the form submission, as has already been suggested in this thread. And you need to persist in refreshing one browser session to check when the site is available, otherwise you will never be able to book an appointment because the site goes down almost every few seconds at and around midnight.

I followed pretty much the same approach mulderpf has mentioned, but with around 6 browser tabs, as opposed to 15.

I used 15 tabs one night and ended up killing all of them as I just couldn't get a connection to the server - on the night I was successful, I probably had about 20-odd open, but only used two or three :)

Also need to add - one night I got to 00:10 and while the server was actually responding, I got a response back saying "No appointments available" (note there are two VERY different error messages - "No appointments" as opposed to "System error occurred", the latter happening from time to time or as I found out when you try and submit more than one form at a time).

Any way - at 00:10 I got "No appointments available" for Croydon (after seeing appointments, but getting a "Appointment no longer available by the time I clicked on submit) on a date and was too tired and upset and decided to go to bed as I thought this meant all the appointments were booked up. Something told me to just try again and lo and behold, when I tried again at about 00:15, more appointments became available (didn't get any in time though - I was probably too tired too care).

So don't just give up if the system says no appointments are available - just keep on going - I've seen appointments suddenly appear when 5 minutes earlier there were none.

Hope that post makes sense...

No exactly 42 days from Sunday morning is a Sunday. The PEO office is closed on a Sunday. It would have been the same if you stayed up until this morning. Other than cancellations (if they become available at this time), the bulk set of appointments will not become available as the office is closed for appointments over weekends.

You used his services? Why are you spamming the whole forum with his details then?

I would be wary using any of these services as the UKBA has made it clear that appointments should not be put on for sale and the same person shouldn't book multiple appointments. While they aren't doing anything about it at the moment, with all the complaints about difficulty getting PEO appointments, this might be the first place they start cracking down on.

From midnight tonight, add 42 days (exactly 6 weeks). So tonight, appointments for 20 February will be released.

Thanks. will try

And these appointment slots will be different from the ones which OISC registered agents sell to people? I contacted some agents today and they said they can book slots for me saying they send mails to UKBA for slots. Does it work this way? These are the agents whose names i see on the OISC site also so look authentic (plus they charge a bomb)

These are different slots to the ones available to the public and as you point out, they are booked using a completely different process (albeit for the same service).

i was looking for PEO appointments for the last 7 days from 11:30pm to 1:30am and also during day times.

for the first time yesterday at 12:30am, i saw couple of slopts at Croydon for 19th Feb and i was so happy. When I was trying to complete the booking (on last page), it came up with "Booking no longer avaialble.", sadly.

this morning, i went to office and checked again, i saw couple of in Cardiff and failed to book it as it disappered. Later again, I managed to book one in for next week in Cardiff at 10:45am.

hope this helps.
