Can I apply for ILR, entered UK 55 days late

Post by smalhotra241 » Mon Jan 14, 2013 8:32 pm

Hi, I entered UK 55 days after I got my HSMP visa from India.(HSMP on 1st Apr 2008)
Since then I have got an extension on HSMP and am completing five years on 1 Apr 2013.

Can I directly apply for ILR or do I need another extension?

Thanks

upto 3 months gap between entry clearance date and date of arrival in the UK is counted towards residential period.
yours 55 days in well within that limit so you can apply for ILR and don't need another extension.
