to those who claimed 10 points for spouse

Post by lightbringer » Mon Aug 23, 2004 7:17 am

Hi,
I am going to claim 10 points for my spouse, actually the question is. What documents you, guys sent to HO in this case? I mean, except for the evidences of your living together, has anyone sent them her/his passport or any other personal identity document. I am going to sent my wifes diploma, will it be enough?

I will be grateful if you list the documents you sent in this case.

Thanks in advice.
Alex

on what basis you are claiming spouse points ? Graduation or graduate level job. If you are claiming for graduation then you have to send her provisional / original degree cert. , if you are claiming for job then send the job certificates. In my case I had sent her degree cert.

a) Partner passport copy
b) Joint bank a/c statements 7-8 spanning across last 2 years with address same as mine
c) Credit card statements of spouse spanning across last 2 years with address same as mine
d) Utility bills in my name
e) Spouse degree & appointment letter (in my case he had both so i sent them all)
f) Marriage cert

Thanks Mini. Yes, I think it is better to sent them my wife's passport copy as well.
By the way, did you do the translation of all your joint account statements or just sent them as is?
