i refer to outland India spousal entry clearance to UK

do i understand correctly ? the applicant has to submit the original Indian passport.
but I the sponsor can send in the attested copies of my Brit ppt

That's correct. How else are they going to endorse the applicant's passport, if it's not submitted?

THE REASON WHY I ASKED THIS Q is because i saw someone is saying they sent a copy ......just making sure..that post is therefore misleading others...
