Liverpool PEO - 10 Jan Success Story...

Post by purulingaraju2013 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 11:23 pm

First of all thanks for all the moderators and the active members, without your help i would not be able to do the application myself.

Total Applicants : Main Applicant + 2 defendants.

Category : Tier 1 general. (set-o)

Absences : < 180 days for main applicant

Absences for spouse : a little more than a year. (arrived in UK together.)

Documents gathered:

1. 12 months payslips + bank statement. (dec 2011 till nov 2012)
2. cohab docs - (council tax, water and GP registration)
3. Life in the UK pass certs
4. P60 statement from HMRC(optional)
5. passports.
6. 2 photos each....

remember to take photocopies of all the docs(mandtory for a set-o application) - also it makes life simpler for the case worker.

The PEO staff were very considerate and co-operative.

Please don't depend on the PEO photo booth... it isn't working.(a nearby photo processing booth is good.)

i arrived in the UKBA office an hour early, but they started processing the application as soon as i reached. I did take out some time to get the photographs done and to get the photocopies done.

It took me less than 2 hours and did not face any issues...

oh yes, the case worker did ask me about the fund maintenance and i told her that for an ILR application it wasn't required and she seemed to agree with me.

The missus`s absence for over a year did not seem to bother the case worker...

I received the bio-metric cards on 15th....

thanks...

Which Service - Set O or Tier 1 General

Post by quite eager » Sun Jan 20, 2013 1:29 am

Congratulations. You must be very relieved now.

Can you please advise which service did you choose while booking your PEO appointment- did you book it for Set O or for Tier 1 General.
It's a little confusing as the drop down list shows both and both seem applicable.

Secondly, what time of the day you could get your appointment with two dependents- it looks like a challenge.

Thirdly, after how many days did you get your bio-metric cards.

Thanks
